Dorotee Sweetlips // Ichigo Princess

This would be the last dress commission for the first half of the year. I'll be resting for two months for my maternity rest but I can still work on small commissions though like accessories and little trinkets as long as I have the proper materials on hand. :)

The set includes an OP, overskirt, a petticoat and a matching hat.

Overskirt is detachable. My client requested for a long dress at first because she's going to use it to a ball and there is a dress code. I suggested that we make a two-way dress so she can still wear the dress on other occasions.

Main material is a nice japanese cotton with strawberry prints and polkadots. I used a textured sheer fabric as accent.

I added shirring at the back as requested by the client.

And the matching princess hat that really turned out cute. I might stock hats like this for inventory. I hope I find time for it. <3

Pink x blonde + photoshoot!

I've been itching to blog this but I had to finish some dresses over the weekend. I'll be posting them today too so please watch out.

Me and Mommy Abie was invited for a shoot last Sunday. It was for a magazine project by the photographer herself, Lycka. I should've suggested more of my lolita friends to her earlier so it could have been a mini lolita meet. Pardon my absent minded-ness. hrhr.

Anyway, I dyed parts of my hair pink last week. What do you think? I'm getting tired bleaching my roots over and over again so this is going to be my final hair murder and I'm dying my hair brown again. My hair fall has been excessive ever since I turned blonde and it freaks me out. Time to give my hair some love this time.

My first outfit for the shoot.

Dress: customized
Fluffy jacket: thrift
Shoes: Bodyline
Bow: handmade

My second ensemble.

Blouse: local
skirt: customized
Brooch and bow: handmade
boots: thrift

I'm celebrating my birthday this weekend so I will be lost again during the whole week. Plan plan plan! <3

Emily Temple Cute thrift find and outfit post

Please don't hate me but I found another Emily Temple Cute piece from a thrift store last week. Got it for less than $2.

It's just a simple cutsew but I really like it for I wear lolita in a daily basis. It's been too hot for lolita these days. This would be comfy!

My outfit last Sunday. I did not went out of the house but I just felt like dressing up for I had my roots done last Saturday. My last retouch was April and my hair have grown around three inches since then. It has been unsightly seeing those virgin black hair peeking on my roots. Glad I had it done again at my friend's salon and nail art spa. I'll have my nails done by them too soon so I could also write a feature for them.

Outfit rundown:
dress and cardigan: local market
headband: from a friend
bow brooches: Bodyline
